cool shot! are the cracks really as deep as they look? looks very very dry.

the cracks are as deep as they look. The photo was taken in Swakopmund, which is in Namibia, there is seldom heavy rain, there was a shower couple weeks before I got there and there is was. I have always wanted to take shots of something like this. I must have spend at least 45 mins taking pics, it was awesome.
