This is one of the best portrait photos I have seen in some time. The features of the child and expression are beautiful. I like how you allowed just enough blue in the eyes to remain in a B&W photo. The light and entire image is well done.

@Barbara: thanks-you for your kind words,..... I called the image pause as alexa was busy during the shoot, she was staring into the light box as I took the image, one of the few moments where she "paused". She is so precious and was a joy to photograph!

This is sooooooo wonderful, with her right eye, the focal point. Her plump cheeks and pensive look were captured beautifully. To capture that "pause" that can be so elusive is the work of an artist! Congratulations for doing it so well.
